Meet Missy, Your Representative Payee Coordinator

At Coordinated Assistance Ministries (CAM), we’re proud to be home to one of Center Township’s most trusted Representative Payee programs, providing essential financial management services to some of our community’s most vulnerable individuals. 

Every month, over 50 clients rely on CAM’s Representative Payee team to manage their Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. For individuals who are unable to manage their own funds due to disability, mental health challenges, or instability, CAM serves as a designated payee, ensuring their basic needs—like rent, food, and utilities—are paid reliably, providing peace of mind and stability.

What Does a Representative Payee Do?

Across the U.S., more than 8 million people receive help managing their federal benefits. A Representative Payee is appointed by the Social Security Administration to: 

  • Receive benefits on behalf of the client 

  • Pay for essential needs first: rent, food, utilities, and medical expenses 

  • Create structured budgets to promote long-term stability 

  • Maintain accurate records and safeguard funds 

At CAM, Tracy Rogers, our Program Supervisor, oversees the daily operations of the payee program with unmatched dedication. Under the guidance of the Township Trustee, CAM supports over 70 clients per year, offering personalized budgeting and peace of mind for both recipients and their families.
